A Message From The Founder

It’s time you meet me. And our new beginning.💗

Yes, this is me at the lake. 😭

First, I’d like to note that I started this blog in 2018, two years after my mom passed away, in hopes that girls without positive female role models would find a safe space to get advice and gain confidence. In 2020, my blog went viral on Pinterest, and I had many, many young girls and women asking me for advice on everything: boys, love, happiness, procrastination, you name it. I loved every second of it, but I became quickly drained. That year, my house caught on fire and I quickly faced homelessness, grief, and a redirection. I wanted to rebrand Living By Bella, but also take a mental break. That break - which was meant to be a few weeks - turned into a few months. And then a year.

I’ve always loved Living By Bella, and I always will. But that’s the problem. I attached my self worth to this blog, and after the struggles of losing my mom, my home, and my self confidence, I am now telling you that Living By Bella is not about me. It’s about you.

So here’s my big announcement: We’re getting deeper. We’re doing interviews, personal reflections, longer advice columns, and conversations on healthy relationships, mental health, philosophy, etc. Plus, paid subscribers will soon be able to access a chat community where we can all ask each other for some extra help. Yes, we will still keep the upbeat and fun tone, but it’s time to go further. I started this blog for teens, because I am one, but as I get older, I know you too are growing with me.

I will now be more consistent, posting weekly. I stopped being consistent because I felt my content wasn’t my best, nor as helpful as it once was. My free subscribers will get 1-2 articles a week, paid subscribers get the full issue, and all subscribers can still ask questions.
